THE FRIENDLY INDIANS are a four-piece Pop/Rock band from Orange County.

The band has gigged all over southern California since the early '90's, earning a loyal following as well as an honor by members of the local press and music community as one of OC's TOP FIVE LIVE ACTS. The band has performed in such varied venues as the HOUSE OF BLUES, THE ROXY, THE COACH HOUSE, THE GALAXY THEATRE, THE WHISKEY A GO GO, LINDA'S DOLL HUT, THE CROOKED BAR, BOGART'S, CLUB MESA and THE GYPSY LOUNGE.

THE BAND has released two CD's: their debut, GREETINGS...FROM LAKE DOLORES, and the more recent PURE GENIUS. Both albums were well received by the public and received wide acclaim from the LOS ANGELES TIMES as well as the ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, who promptly listed it among the best releases OF THE DECADE from a local act.

Those reviews as well as many others, can be viewed here. The INDIANS have shared bills with many of today's prominent artists, including THE BARENAKED LADIES, REEL BIG FISH, FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE, SAVE FERRIS, JOHN DOE, THE YOUNG DUBLINERS, THE REMBRANDTS, THE ROMANTICS, EDDIE MONEY, DREAD ZEPPELIN, SUPERDIAMOND, JOHN EASEDALE, LEFTOVER SALMON, POI DOG PONDERING and ROGER CLYNE AND THE PEACEMAKERS.
